“My father was in an assisted living center, and had gotten to the point he could not get out of bed, and didn’t want to try for a fear of falling. After speaking with his hospice nurse and the management of the assisted living facility, I decided I needed to find a new place with more care and a smaller ratio of nurse to patient care.
I live in Canada, and started making plans to get to the Phoenix area. I had spoken to Joe several times about what to do, how to do it, and where to go. Joe told me to not worry, he would find a nice place and get me some information. We spoke several times, and on the way down, he mentioned he had found a place.
Once I got to Phoenix, we met the next morning and went and met the people of a home and toured their facility. This place was Gods Grace Assisted Living group home. After touring the facility and meeting everyone, I told Joe I didn’t not need to look any further. What do I do next?
Joe had the contract to me very quickly, and negotiated the monthly rate with the group home. By the next morning, all paperwork had been taken care of. I asked Joe what to do next, and I was told not to worry. By noon the next day, everything had been set up, my father was transported and set up in the new place.
My father did not make it more than a month in the new home, but he was taken care of and was happy his last month.
Joes service did end with me finding the place. He followed up with me, and also checked in on my father from time to time.
Thank you Joe for eliminating so much stress and problems when dealing with this type of situation.”
